Refund policy

This policy applies to consumer purchases made through visionfantasyart.com and supplements VisionFantasyArt UF’s Terms and Conditions and general terms of purchase.

1. Summary

  • Customers normally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal.

  • The customer pays the direct cost of return shipping when exercising the right of withdrawal.

  • VisionFantasyArt UF does not charge any return, administration, handling, or restocking fee when the right of withdrawal is exercised.

  • If a complaint concerning a faulty product is accepted, VisionFantasyArt UF covers the necessary costs, including any return shipping costs.

  • Withdrawal, cancellation, and complaints concerning faulty products are separate rights and are handled in accordance with the terms below.

2. Right of Withdrawal

A consumer who makes a distance purchase normally has the right to withdraw from the purchase without providing a reason within 14 days.

The withdrawal period begins on the day after the customer, or a person designated by the customer, receives the product. If an order contains several products that are delivered separately, the withdrawal period normally begins on the day after the final product is received.

VisionFantasyArt UF sells posters featuring pre-designed artwork. The fact that a standard poster is printed only after an order has been placed does not, by itself, mean that it has been custom-made according to the customer’s personal specifications. The standard right of withdrawal therefore applies to these posters.

3. How to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must send a clear statement before the withdrawal period expires to:

The message should include:

  • the customer’s name;

  • the order number;

  • the product or products concerned;

  • the date on which the product was received.

The customer does not require approval from VisionFantasyArt UF to exercise their statutory right of withdrawal. The customer may use the form at the end of this policy, but this is not mandatory.

4. Returning the Product

After notifying us that the right of withdrawal is being exercised, the customer must return the product without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which the notice was submitted.

The customer must include or provide their name and order number so that the return can be identified.

The customer is responsible for the direct cost of return shipping when exercising the right of withdrawal. VisionFantasyArt UF does not provide a free return label unless otherwise expressly agreed. Returns sent using cash on delivery or similar payment-on-receipt services will not be accepted unless approved in advance.

The customer is responsible for packaging the product carefully so that it is protected during return shipping. The original packaging may be used if it is still available, but this is not required. We recommend using a trackable shipping method and retaining proof of postage.

5. Condition of the Product and Reduction in Value

The customer may examine the product to the extent necessary to determine its characteristics and function, in approximately the same way as they would in a physical store.

If the customer has handled the product more than was necessary, VisionFantasyArt UF may, to the extent permitted by law, deduct an amount corresponding to the reduction in value caused by that handling. Any deduction must correspond to the product’s actual reduction in value and will be assessed individually.

6. Refunds Following Withdrawal

When the customer exercises the right of withdrawal, VisionFantasyArt UF will refund the payment made for the returned product or products.

If the customer withdraws from the entire order, we will also refund the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered at the time of purchase. Any additional cost resulting from the customer choosing a more expensive delivery method will not be refunded.

If only part of an order is returned, the price of the returned product or products will be refunded. Any refund of delivery costs for a partial return will be determined in accordance with applicable law and how the original delivery cost was calculated.

The refund will be issued without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which VisionFantasyArt UF received the customer’s notice of withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until the product has been returned or the customer has provided evidence that it has been sent back, whichever occurs first.

The refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless the customer expressly agrees otherwise. The customer will not be charged any refund, administration, handling, or restocking fee. However, a lawful deduction for reduction in value may be made in accordance with Section 5.

7. Exchanges

VisionFantasyArt UF does not offer a separate exchange service. If the customer would like a different design or size, they may exercise the right of withdrawal for the original product, provided that the applicable conditions are met, and place a new order.

This does not affect the customer’s rights if the original product is faulty or if the wrong product was delivered.

8. Complaints Concerning Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrectly Delivered Products

Under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act, customers have the right to make a complaint concerning an original defect in a product for up to three years.

The complaint must be made within a reasonable period after the customer discovered or should have discovered the defect. A complaint made within two months of discovering the defect is always considered to have been made within a reasonable period.

A product may, for example, be considered faulty if:

  • the poster was damaged upon delivery;

  • the customer received the wrong design, size, or quantity;

  • the poster does not correspond to the product description or what the customer could reasonably expect.

Minor colour differences may occur between an image displayed on a screen and a printed product due to screen settings and printing techniques. A minor difference of this nature does not necessarily mean that the product is faulty. However, the product must still correspond to the product information and what the customer could reasonably expect.

Complaints should be sent to visionfantasyart@gmail.com. The customer should provide their name, order number, a description of the issue, and the remedy they are requesting.

Where possible, the customer may include clear photographs of the product, the defect, and the packaging. Photographs help us investigate the matter but are not an absolute requirement if the defect can be demonstrated in another way.

The customer must not return a product that is the subject of a complaint before receiving return instructions from us.

9. Remedies for Accepted Complaints

If a complaint is accepted, the defect will be handled in accordance with the Swedish Consumer Sales Act. Depending on the circumstances, an available remedy may include replacement, a price reduction, or termination of the purchase and a refund.

The remedy to which the customer is entitled, and the order in which remedies may be requested, will be determined in accordance with the Swedish Consumer Sales Act.

VisionFantasyArt UF will cover the necessary costs arising from an accepted complaint, including any return shipping costs. If the product must be returned, we will provide instructions.

If the purchase is terminated, the refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless the customer expressly agrees otherwise.

10. Damage During Shipping

VisionFantasyArt UF bears the risk of the product until it has been received by the customer or by a person designated by the customer.

The customer should report visible shipping damage as soon as possible and, where possible, retain and photograph both the product and its packaging. A delayed report does not, by itself, remove the customer’s statutory right to make a complaint.

11. Cancellation Before Delivery

VisionFantasyArt UF offers free cancellation if the customer’s request is received at visionfantasyart@gmail.com within one hour of the order being placed.

Production may have started after one hour. The customer still has the right to cancel the product before it has been delivered. VisionFantasyArt UF may then, to the extent permitted by law, claim compensation for reasonable and actual costs incurred as a result of the cancellation that could not reasonably have been avoided.

The customer will be informed of any deduction and how it has been calculated.

12. Uncollected or Incorrectly Addressed Parcels

Failure to collect a parcel does not constitute notice of withdrawal. The customer must contact VisionFantasyArt UF if they wish to withdraw from the purchase.

If a parcel is returned because it was not collected, the recipient refused delivery without a valid reason, or the customer provided incorrect or incomplete address information, VisionFantasyArt UF may, to the extent permitted by law, deduct reasonable and actual costs resulting from this. Such costs may include return shipping.

The customer is entitled to receive the remaining amount paid for the product. No fixed restocking fee or penalty fee will be charged.
